Loretta Blankenbeckler, 93, of Milton, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Reid Health in Richmond.
A native of Connersville, she was born September 16, 1932, the daughter of the late Delbert and Plina Templeton Lunsford.
On January 28, 1955, she was married to Eldon E. Blankenbeckler at the home of his aunt, Billie Smith, in Milton. Mr. Blankenbeckler passed away on March 12, 2023.
Mrs. Blankenbeckler was employed as a Noon Aide at Fayette Central School for four years, retiring in 2007.
A woman of faith, she was a member of the Eastside Pentecostal Church and the Community Gospel Church. In her leisure time, Loretta enjoyed reading the Bible, attending church, and watching her favorite television shows.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Willhite of Milton; two grandchildren, Tammy (Boyd) Lunsford of Milton and Travis (Amee) Willhite of Centerville; four great-grandchildren, Nicole (Amber) Bristow, Hayley (Lee) Bond, Dustin Lunsford, and Hunter (Karsi) Willhite; and five great-great-grandchildren, Ryker Bristow, Payson Bristow, Kase Bond, Jessie Bond, and Bowden Andrew Willhite. She is also survived by a brother, James Lunsford of Connersville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents and her husband, Eldon, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Herman Lunsford, Noel Lunsford, Leonard Lunsford, and Charles Eugene Lunsford; and three sisters, Alpha Marcum, Della Marcum, Edna Wadle.
Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Reverend Bobby Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in Westside Cemetery, Milton.
