Whitewater Valley Voice – Classifieds Terms & Rules
By submitting a classified advertisement to Whitewater Valley Voice, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. General Information
Whitewater Valley Voice provides a platform for community members and businesses to post classified advertisements. We do not verify the accuracy of ads and are not responsible for transactions, communications, or outcomes between buyers and sellers.
All classifieds are user-submitted content.
2. Payment & Submission
- All classified ads must be paid in full at the time of submission
- Ads will not be published until payment is successfully processed
- Payments are non-refundable once an ad is approved or published
- Failed or incomplete payments will result in the submission being discarded
3. Ad Review & Approval
- All ads are subject to review before publication
- Whitewater Valley Voice reserves the right to approve, edit, reject, or remove any ad at its sole discretion
- Ads that violate these terms or community standards may be removed without notice or refund
4. Prohibited Content
The following are not allowed:
- Illegal goods or services
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or controlled substances
- Adult, explicit, or sexually suggestive content
- Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory language
- Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings
- Pyramid schemes, scams, or “get rich quick” offers
- Medical or legal claims that cannot be substantiated
- Stolen property or items not legally owned by the seller
5. Accuracy & Responsibility
- Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and truthfulness of their listings
- Whitewater Valley Voice does not guarantee responses, sales, or outcomes
- Buyers and sellers assume all risk when communicating or completing transactions
6. Ad Duration
- Classified ads run for the duration specified at the time of purchase
- Ads do not automatically renew unless stated otherwise
- Expired ads must be resubmitted and repurchased to run again
7. Photos & Media
- If photo uploads are offered, submitted images must be owned by the advertiser or used with permission
- Images must not contain watermarks, offensive content, or misleading visuals
- Whitewater Valley Voice reserves the right to remove images that violate these terms
8. Removal of Ads
Whitewater Valley Voice may remove an ad at any time if:
- The content violates these terms
- The listing becomes misleading or inaccurate
- The ad poses legal, ethical, or community concerns
Removal does not guarantee a refund.
9. Limitation of Liability
Whitewater Valley Voice is not liable for:
- Financial loss
- Personal injury
- Property damage
- Disputes between users
- Missed communications or failed transactions
Use of the classifieds section is at your own risk.
10. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated at any time without notice. Continued use of the classifieds section constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
