John L. Gordon, 91, of Falmouth
John L. Gordon of Falmouth, In passed away on Saturday February 21, 2026, at the age of 91. He was born in Rush County, In on February 8, 1935, the only child of the late Paul and Elsie Scott Gordon.
John served his county by enlisting in the Indiana National Guard, where he served for several years. On June 23, 1986, at the Rushville Christian Church, he was united in marriage to the former Patrica Jean Linville. They shared 39 years of marriage prior to his death.
John had worked at GECOM Corp in Greensburg for several years, but his passion was farming. John lived a simple life. He loved to play pool and enjoyed dancing. John was an avid John Deere, steam engine and motorcycle enthusiast. He loved being in the company of his family and spending time with his dogs.
His memories and love will be forever cherished by his wife, Patricia; son, John Gordon II; daughter Elizabeth Jayne (Andy) Norris; stepchildren, DJ (Lucy) Rea, Buffie (Will) Rogers, Tiffaney (Richard) Fish and Dustin Rea; and multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
