
Felix Evans, Jr. of Liberty passed away on Wednesday February 4, 2026 at Rosebud Village in Richmond at the age of 90. Felix was born in Middletown, OH on July 28, 1935, the son of Felix Evans, Sr. and Anna Evans.
On October 30, 1954, Felix married the love of his life, the former Shirley Jean Marshall, in Liberty. They shared 61 years of marriage prior to her death in 2016. They were blessed with three children.
He retired after 30+ years from Belden in Richmond. He was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church in Liberty. Felix enjoyed working on and restoring cars, woodworking and carpentry. He did not like to be idle and was always tinkering with something, and never had anything to complain about.
His memories will be cherished by his children, Cindy Halstead, Bruce Evans and Mark Evans; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He will be in the thoughts of his brothers, Eugene, Herbert and Ralph, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Donald, David, Opal, Bert, Ruby, and an infant sister.
Funeral services will be held at Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home, 310 N Main Street, Liberty, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 1:00 pm with Reverend Garfield Seeley officiating. Friends and family may gather from 11:00 am until the hour of the service. Burial will be at Dunlapsville Cemetery.
