
Daniel James Doulen, 21, of Connersville, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 at his home.
The only son of Billy Joe and Dana Bell Doulen, Daniel was born on June 22, 2004, in New Castle, Indiana. He attended Connersville High School and was a proud member of the graduating Class of 2023.
Daniel was a dedicated worker, serving on the dietary staff at Caroleton Manor. Outside of his work, he was a young man of many talents and passions. A gifted musician, he was particularly talented on the guitar and found great joy in playing music. He was also deeply artsy, expressing his unique perspective through drawing and painting.
Daniel was a member of Imagination Theatre, where he shared his creative spirit with others. An avid outdoorsman, Daniel also loved spending his time hiking and exploring nature.
Survivors include his parents, Billy Joe and Dana Doulen; a son, Tyler Steele; and an honorary sister, Rylie Huff, all of Connersville. He is also survived by his grandmother, Carol Halpin; his aunts and uncles, Jessica Bell, Peggy Faulks, Rocky Doulen, and Danny Bell, Jr.; as well as six cousins who were very close to him, Darin Doulen, Sean Bell, Makayla Bell, Kalob Williams, Noah Bell, and Emma Bell.
Daniel was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Sandy Doulen; his maternal grandfather, Danny Bell; and his beloved dog, Mojo.
Family and friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor Merle Seeley will officiate.
