Jeffrey Granville Bowling, 60, a life-long resident of Connersville, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, January 17, 2026, at his home.
One of five children of Granville T. G. and June Eileen Hunter Bowling, Jeff was born on September 17, 1965.
Jeff was a dedicated worker with a strong work ethic. For a number of years, he was an over-the-road truck driver. He also operated heavy equipment as an excavator for several local excavating companies. For over five years, he was employed with the Connersville Utilities Company.
He was a member of CrossPointe Biker Church and a member of the Eagles. In his leisure time, Jeff enjoyed working and cherished the time he spent with his family and many friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Amber (John) Hollinger of Greenville, Ohio, and Wendy (Travis) Osmun of Connersville; six grandchildren, Brendon Osmun, Trevor Osmun, Harley Hollinger, Tristan Osmun, Kelsee Osmun, and Olivia Hollinger; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his companion, Jenny Hux; three sisters, Sue (J.D.) Durham, Judy (Luke) Hobbs, and Amanda (Michael) Faulk, all of Connersville; an uncle, Dale (Debbie) Hunter of Connersville; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sydney Elizabeth Bowling; an infant son, Jeffrey Granville Alan Bowling; a sister, Becky Mitchell; and a nephew, Joseph Shade Granville Durham.
A committal service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Lick Creek Cemetery. Pastor Chris Lovett will officiate. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
