Judy Lynn Housman Phillips, 53, of Connersville

Judy Lynn Housman Phillips, 53, of Connersville, was welcomed with open arms into heaven by her two fathers, Tuesday morning December 30, 2025.

She was born April 10, 1972, in Connersville, the daughter of Raymond Richard “Duke” and Robin Taylor Friley. She was raised by her adopted father, Paul R. Housman. She was a lifelong resident of Connersville.

On July 8, 2016, she was married to Kenneth Phillips. Mr. Phillips survives.

A member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, she loved to cook, PLAY BINGO, fishing, time on the beach anytime she could. Her two grandchildren were her ray of sunshine and her world.

Survivors besides her husband include two daughters; Morgan (Josh) Freeman, Sierra (Darsha) Sorrell, all of Connersville; her mother, Robin Taylor; two grandchildren, Emma and Braylon; two sisters, Janice Nixon and Paula Evans; two brothers, Paul A. Casey and Donald Friley; her mother-in-law, Linda Phillips; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; her adopted father; a brother Scott Taylor; and her father-in-law, Kenneth Phillips.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2026, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home where friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
