Jean Wright, 71 of Connersville

Jean Wright, 71 of Connersville passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025. She was born on July 19, 1954 in Peebles, Ohio to Thomas Robuck and Olive Riddle Robuck. 

Jean attended Connersville Baptist Temple. 

For over 30 years Jean was a clerk at Village Pantry. 

She found great joy in life’s quiet moments watching the birds from her window, sitting peacefully by the water at the lake and soaking in the calm beauty of nature. These moments brought her comfort and happiness. Jean was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was her greatest pride and joy. 

Jean is survived by her daughter, Nichole Wright, of Connersville; her grandchildren, Alexandera (Arin) Bowers and Brianna McKinney; great grandchildren, Leihum, Lochlann and Stella Bowers, Hunter and Ryker McKinney; her sisters, Sue Cook, of Florida and Tracey Cook of Brown County; and her lifelong friends, Kerry Halberstadt and Mary Newman. 

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Frankie Dwayne Wright; her brothers, Thomas Wright and William Wright; and her late husband, Frank Wright. 

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Urban Winkler Funeral home is honored to be assisting the Wright family.
