A. James Gero, 64, of Connersville, passed away Friday afternoon, December 5, 2025, at Reid Health in Richmond.
One of three children of A.J. and Lynn Bauhaus Gero, James was born January 19, 1961, in Pennsylvania and was a 1979 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School.
James worked in residential construction for many years. He attended Soldiers in the Army of the Lord Church and enjoyed spending his leisure time outdoors, specifically fishing and hunting.
Survivors include two sisters, Amy Collins (Jorge Solis) of Connersville and Tami Gero; two nephews, Brandon (Arieal) Collins of Richmond, and Scott Collins of Utah; and a great-niece, Rebel Collins.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
