Kurt Noyan Bergman, 72, of Connersville
Kurt Noyan Bergman, 72, of Connersville, went home to be with the Lord Monday morning, November 17, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
One of four children of Orville and Roberta Burton Bergman, Kurt was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on August 11, 1953, and was a 1972 graduate of Decatur Central High School.
Kurt proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1972 until 1978.
On June 16, 1979, he was united in marriage Lori Ann Blacketer in Hillsdale, Indiana. Mrs. Bergman survives.
For over 35 years, Kurt was employed with CSX Railroad as a Bridge Maintenance Specialist, retiring in 2007.
Kurt was a member of Connersville Living Waters. In his leisure time, he was an avid Colts fan, enjoyed listening to music, watching action movies, reading, and especially spending time with his family.
Survivors, besides his wife of 46 years, Lori Bergman, include two daughters, Janice Shook of Connersville, Neva (Jason) Paul of Connersville; granddaughter, Leanna Paul; a brother, Marc (Wanda) Bergman of Bicknell, Indiana; a sister, Carmen (Tom) Pigran of New Castle, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kyle Bergman.
Friends and family are welcome to attend visitation from 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor Michael Myers will officiate. Burial with military rites will be held in Lick Creek Cemetery.
