Flood Recovery Information Sept. 18, 2026
The Fayette County Department of Homeland Security & Emergency Management has released updated information for residents impacted by the August flooding.
Important updates include:
- Debris pickup begins Monday, September 21 at 8 a.m.
- FEMA Individual Assistance deadline: October 25
- Disaster Unemployment Assistance deadline: October 27
- Housing vouchers may be extended for an additional 30 days by calling 211
- Updated hours and additional recovery resources are also included.
