Imogene (Moore) Bell, age 92, of Oxford, Ohio passed away at 12:53 a.m. on Monday, March 23rd, 2026. Her daughter Connie and granddaughter Nikki were with her.

She was born in Tyner, Kentucky on March 26th, 1933, the daughter of William E. and Chloe (Wilson) Moore.

In 1952, she married John J. Bell of Owsley, Kentucky. They resided in Connersville, Indiana until 1991 and then, in Oxford, Ohio until John’s passing in 2013.

She worked at Stants for 25 years. She gave her life to the Lord at the age of 20 and served Him faithfully for her entire life. She was a member of the Western Avenue Baptist Church until moving to Oxford, Ohio where she was a member of the Stahlheber Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School for 40 years.

Imogene was a woman of both strength and tenderness, and she lived her life rooted in faith and love. She prayed for all – family, friends, and strangers alike. She always had time for others, unless it was March Madness and the Kentucky Wildcats were playing. She found joy in life’s simple moments like sitting on her porch with a loved one, tending her garden or listening to the birds sing. Her love was felt deeply by those it graced, and it will echo for years to come.

She is survived by her daughters Connie Keeton of Oxford, Ohio and Vickie Crary (Mark) of Liberty, Indiana, grandchildren, Nicole Worley (Robert) of Eaton, Ohio, David Keeton of Eaton, Ohio, Courtney Koehler (Matt) of Connersville, Indiana, Cory Keeton (Jessica) of Oxford, Ohio, and Ashley Keeton (Seth) of Oxford, Ohio, great grandchildren, Jayce Maple, Kage Worley, Morgan Keeton, Kendra Worley, Gracie Russell, Cole Geisler, Addison Keeton, Ezra Keeton, Mirabelle Keeton, Ames Keeton, and Holden Geisler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John J. Bell, sons-in-law Keith Keeton and David Gardner, three sisters, Lena Strong, Lizzie Lewis, and Pearl Boggs.

She called three special ladies in her life her best friends; Juanita Hamilton, Dottie Botts, and Elinor Kaul.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26th, 2026 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Wallen, and Pastor Mark Crary, officiating; burial will follow in Dale Cemetery – family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service; they may also visit anytime online at millermosterrobbins.com.
