Thomas Lutz, 73, of Connersville

Thomas Lutz of Connersville passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026 with his family by his side at the age of 73. Thomas was born in Connersville on May 8, 1952, the son of the late Cecil Willam Lutz and Greita May Evitts Lutz.
He was a Journeyman Meatcutter and in the early 1980’s, he was the owner/operator of Tom’s Custom Meats. Most recently he owned Circle L Ranch, where he bought, sold and traded horses. He was a simple man that always enjoyed working. When not working you could find him riding his horses enjoying the outdoors. The time he spent with his family was the most important thing to him.
Thomas’s love and memories will be cherished by his children, Amie Lora (Bill Lawson) Lutz, Thomas W (Melissa) Lutz, Jr. and Ryan W. (Nicolett) Lutz, his significant other, Lucinda Brown; grandchildren Elsa Lutz, Bryson Lutz, Kaitlyn (Samuel) Robertson, Emily Miller, Brody Hamilton and Eathan Hamilton; great grandchildren, Amara Hamilton, Aliza Risch, Layna Risch, Tensleigh Lutz, and Remedy Robertson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Kenny and David Lutz.
Keeping Thomas’s wishes, cremation was chosen. Urban Winkler Funeral Home is honored to assist his family with the arrangements.
