Spartans Defeat Patriots in Junior Varsity Thanksgiving Eve Matchup

Connersville, IN — The Connersville Spartans Junior Varsity team secured a decisive victory over the Union County Patriots in a competitive pre-holiday matchup played on the eve of Thanksgiving. The final score was Connersville 37, Union County 22.

Connersville Spartans (37)

The Spartans secured the win through a balanced scoring attack, totaling 37 points. The team’s offensive effort was led by Evan Miller with 8 points and Owen Henderson with 7 points. Kooper Montgomery contributed 6 points, while both Wyatt Grey and Landon Ellis finished with 5 points each. Rounding out the scoring were Colten Conley with 4 points and Justin Kitchen with 2 points.

Union County Patriots (22)

The Patriots demonstrated effort throughout the game, mounting a visible push in the fourth quarter to challenge the Spartans. Their entire 22-point total was accounted for by four players: H. Evans led the scoring with 9 points; J. Hertel contributed 6 points; A. Otto finished with 5 points; and C. Gray added 2 points.
