Connersville, IN — The Connersville Spartans Varsity team earned a victory over the Union County Patriots in a pre-holiday matchup played on the eve of Thanksgiving. The final score was Connersville 67, Union County 19.
Connersville Spartans (67)
The Spartans’ scoring attack totaled 67 points, distributed across eight players. Chase Corder led the scoring with 14 points, followed by Hunter Allen with 13 points and Jay McMullen with 12 points. Jacob Laughlin and Grady Simpkins each contributed 8 points. Rees scored 6 points, Luke Brewer finished with 4 points, and Young added 2 points to complete the team’s total.
Union County Patriots (19)
The Patriots’ 19-point total was contributed by five players. Harvey led the team with 6 points. Johnson scored 5 points, while Martinez and Horning each recorded 3 points. Salsbery added 2 points to account for the Union County final score.
