BROOKVILLE, IN — The Franklin County Indiana 4-H Fair is set to conclude this evening, capping off a week of hard work, competition, and community fellowship. The culmination of the event for many young participants was the much-anticipated livestock auction, which saw tremendous support from local businesses and individuals.
As the fair winds down tonight, livestock projects have been released, marking the end of a year-long journey of dedication for countless 4-H members. The efforts of these young exhibitors were rewarded at the annual livestock auction, a cornerstone event that highlights the powerful bond between the participants and the community that supports them.
Numerous individuals and local businesses, including the Whitewater Valley Voice, participated in the auction, placing bids to honor the commitment and skill demonstrated by the 4-H’ers. The funds raised serve as a direct reward for the youths’ investment of time, energy, and resources into their current and future projects.
This year, Whitewater Valley Voice photographer Steve Dice was on hand to capture the moments that made the fair special, taking thousands of photos of the shows, the smiles, and the supportive atmosphere. While not every single image could be featured, we have shared a collection of memories that showcase the spirit of the event. We deeply admire the incredible effort put forth by every participant.
In addition to photography, our team spoke with several members and participants throughout the week, and their stories will be featured in upcoming articles. The Whitewater Valley Voice will also be publishing the complete results of the week on our website in the coming days.
Congratulations to all the Franklin County 4-H members on a successful fair week!
