Connersville, IN – Blake Eugene Snoddy is facing felony charges in Fayette Circuit Court following his arrest. The case, was filed on May 27, 2025, and is currently pending.
Snoddy is alleged to have committed Child Molesting by fondling or touching a child under 14, a Level 4 Felony. He also faces an allegation of Child Solicitation, a Level 5 Felony. We will not be printing further details about the case to protect the alleged victim.
During an initial hearing on May 27, 2025, not guilty pleas were entered on Snoddy’s behalf. Bond was set at $50,000, with 10% to the Clerk or surety permitted. Snoddy indicated his intention to hire his own legal counsel.
The case was investigated by Fayette County Sheriff Detectives Kyle McMurray and Dan Becker.
Several court dates have been scheduled in the matter. A Status of Counsel hearing is set for June 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The Omnibus date is July 11, 2025. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for August 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., and a jury trial is slated for August 25, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. All proceedings are under Judge Hubert Branstetter.
It is important to remember that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
