The Connersville Police Department has officially named Lt. Kevin Perry as its new Deputy Chief.

Perry is a 24-year law enforcement veteran, including 16 years of dedicated service right here with the City of Connersville. Before this new appointment, he steadily climbed the ranks within the department, serving as both a Sergeant and a Lieutenant.

In addition to his regular leadership roles, Perry has been a vital part of the local K-9 Division and the SWAT Team. He also handles crucial training for his fellow officers, serving as the department’s Emergency Vehicle Operations and STOPS Instructor.

Beyond his uniform, Perry is a deeply familiar face to local families. His dedication to the community extends well past his shift, having coached several area youth sports teams alongside his current role as the Lady Spartans JV basketball coach.

The department congratulates Deputy Chief Perry on his well-earned promotion as he takes on this next chapter of leadership and community service.
