The banks of the Whitewater River are set to transform into a celebration of peace, love, and community as Robinson’s Whitewater River Campground hosts Hippie Fest 2026. The upcoming event is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the campground located at 1618 State Road 121 South in Connersville. Admission for the single-day festival is set at a flat fee of $10 per car.
Festival organizers are promising a full day of live entertainment, unique vendor booths, and regional food trucks. Attendees are encouraged to dress the part by throwing on their favorite flower crowns, tie-dye shirts, round sunglasses, and bell bottoms to help celebrate the groove and spirit of the 1960s and 1970s. For those looking to enjoy the water, organizer Kelly Robinson noted that “the kayaks and tubing will be open normal hours” throughout the day.
The live entertainment lineup kicks off at 12:30 PM with a performance by Janet Jackson as Janis Joplin, running until 1:30 PM. Singer-songwriter Jenn Flannery will take the stage next from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Following an afternoon intermission, the Sweetwater Band will perform from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, immediately followed by a special belly dancing performance from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The evening wraps up with a headlining performance by the Neon Heartaches Band, taking the stage from 8:00 PM until the festival closes at 10:00 PM.
In addition to the musical entertainment, the festival grounds will feature 10 distinct food trucks alongside more than 50 local and regional vendors. The market area will showcase an array of unique goods and services, including custom jewelry, wood carvings, and specialized boutiques. Visitors can also explore crystal collections, experience reiki sessions, receive tarot card readings, or enjoy specialty coffee and local wine tastings and wine slushies. Robinson described the gathering as “a day of peace love and community,” calling it “a place that has a vibe that just makes you happy”.
