
Sylvia M. Kerr, 84 of Connersville passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026. She was born on October 20, 1941, in Ary, Kentucky to Bertis Noble and Margarite Kelly Noble.
On April 3, 1971, she married John Sullivan Kerr. They were married for 25 years before he passed away on November 28, 1996.
Sylvia worked at Ford in Connersville for many years before retiring.
Sylvia found happiness in life’s quiet and meaningful moments being outdoors. She enjoyed listening to the comforting sounds of blue grass moments and old country. You could often find her watching her favorite tv shows, such as Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, she was always eager to test her knowledge. She was an avid reader, especially when it came to romance novels.
Most importantly Sylvia was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished her time spent with her loved ones.
Sylivia is survived by sons, Charles Hundley II and Nathan Kerr; her daughter in law, Linda Gray; her grandchildren, Adam Hundley and Haley Hundley; great grandchildren, Peyton and Savanna Hundley.
Along with her parents and husband, John; she was preceded in death by her siblings, Buddy Noble, Hershelene Wright, and William Noble; grandson, Jacob Hundley; great granddaughter, Isabella Hundley.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, April 13, 2026 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8th St., Connersville, Indiana 47331. The funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jeremy Horn officiating.
