Cyber Tips Lead to Felony Charges and Arrest in Connersville

CONNERSVILLE — A digital forensic investigation into illegal internet uploads has led to the arrest and filing of multiple felony charges against a Fayette County man.

Terry R. Sizemore, 59, of Connersville, was charged Friday with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, each a Level 5 Felony, and one count of Possession of Marijuana, a Class B Misdemeanor.

The investigation, led by Detective Justin Gray of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force, began in late January following a series of “cyber tips.” According to the probable cause affidavit, investigators traced the illegal uploads through IP addresses associated with a residence in the 600 block of West 33rd Street.

Additional evidence was reportedly located in a cloud storage account linked to Sizemore’s phone number, which investigators say contained prohibited videos alongside images of the suspect’s identification.

On February 18, 2026, county and city units executed a search warrant at the residence. After several “knock and announce” attempts, officers breached the door and located Sizemore inside. During the search, authorities seized:

1 Tablet
1 Camcorder
1 Cellular phone
1 Locked safe

A preliminary search of the seized phone allegedly identified three additional videos of illegal content. All devices were subsequently sent to a state laboratory for comprehensive forensic analysis.

Following his arrest, Sizemore was transported to the Fayette County Jail. Upon being read his Miranda rights, he requested legal counsel.
