Everton VFD and Fayette County EMS Coordinate Air Transport After Fall

CONNERSVILLE — Emergency personnel coordinated a successful air medical transport following a fall with injury on Saturday afternoon.

At approximately 2:45 p.m., the Everton Volunteer Fire Department was the first agency to arrive on the scene to assist Fayette County EMS. After a medical assessment, it was determined that the patient’s condition required transport to a regional trauma center via helicopter.

The Connersville City Police and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department assisted in securing a landing zone at the Connersville soccer fields. The patient was successfully transferred to the flight crew and flown out for further treatment.
