Nov. 13, 2025 — Reid Health, in partnership with Q7 Associates, invites artists to submit original artwork for consideration in the new Reid Health – Connersville facility. This initiative aims to create a healing, human-centered environment through thoughtfully curated art inspired by wellness, tranquility, and a strong sense of regional identity.

Preference will be given to local and regional artists living and/or working in Connersville, Richmond, and surrounding communities within the Whitewater Valley region.

Reid is seeking unframed original artwork in the following media:

• Watercolor
• Photography
• Oil or acrylic on canvas
• Mixed media
• Textile art

All works should be original, created by the submitting artist, and should reflect:

• Soothing imagery and tones inspired by nature and the surrounding landscape
• Positive, inclusive, and uplifting themes that resonate with patients, families, and staff
• Avoidance of imagery that might evoke stress or discomfort, such as harsh abstraction, aggressive color contrast, or depictions of isolation, decay, or distress

Artists can submit up to five digital images for review. Each submission must include:

• Artist name
• Artwork title
• Medium
• Dimensions (height by width in inches)
• Price of each work submitted
• Brief description or statement (optional but encouraged, 100 words or fewer)
• File type: Please submit images in JPEG or PDF format only.
• File naming convention: Each file name should include the artist’s last name and artwork title (e.g., Smith_SummerMorning.jpeg).

Entries can be submitted at https://www.q7associates.com/artwork-submissions.

Selections will be made by Q7 Associates in collaboration with Reid Health representatives. Preference will be given to:

• Artists with local or regional ties
• Artwork that aligns with thematic goals of wellness, tranquility, and community identity
• Pieces suitable for healthcare environments and defined aesthetics

Selected artists might be contacted for potential commissioning or exhibition opportunities.

The deadline for entries is Dec. 5 with selection notification coming by Dec. 19. If chosen, artwork will need to be delivered by Dec. 29. Artists will be responsible for delivery, with specifics provided upon acceptance.

About the Project
The Reid Health – Connersville Art Program is part of a larger initiative to design healthcare spaces that enhance patient recovery, staff well-being, and community pride. The program integrates art as an essential element of healing, inspired by evidence-based and biophilic design practices. Selected works will contribute to creating an atmosphere of comfort, resilience, and regional connection within the new facility.
