FLOOD WATCH ALERT – White Water Valley Region

Heads up! A Flood Watch is in effect for Wayne, Fayette, Union, and Franklin counties from now until Sunday morning (April 6th, 8 AM), issued by NWS Wilmington OH.

Expect periods of rain, with the heaviest likely Saturday into Saturday night. The ground is already wet, increasing the risk of flooding in rivers, creeks, streams, and low-lying spots.

IMPORTANT:

Keep updated on weather alerts.
Have a plan if you are in a flood-prone location.
DO NOT drive through floodwaters. It’s dangerous and can block roads for everyone, including emergency services which we know can face delays in these conditions.
