Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Mourns the Loss of Retired K9 Deputy Zeno
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department is mourning the loss of retired K9 Deputy Zeno, a longtime law enforcement partner who served alongside Sgt. McMurry for several years.
During his years of service, Zeno was a valuable asset to local law enforcement and assisted officers in multiple apprehensions throughout Fayette County and the surrounding area.
After retiring from duty, Zeno had been enjoying a well-earned retirement before recently experiencing declining health.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department shared the news of his passing and asked the community to keep Sgt. McMurry and his family in their thoughts as they grieve the loss of their longtime partner, companion, and “good boy.”
WWVV joins the community in recognizing K9 Deputy Zeno for his years of service and dedication.
Our thoughts are with Sgt. McMurry, his family, and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.
