State officials have launched a dedicated disaster resource hub to help Hoosiers recover from the severe storms and flash flooding that swept through the region starting August 11.
Managed by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS), the hub centralizes state and federal aid options into a single portal. Most notably, the site hosts the application for the State Disaster Relief Fund (SDRF), which provides qualifying impacted residents with emergency grants of up to $5,000.
The grant funding is intended to cover immediate, essential needs—such as replacement clothing, food, and basic necessities—for families who have been displaced or suffered significant damage from the storms.
