CONNERSVILLE, Ind. — The Connersville Police Department announced the promotions of two officers to the rank of Lieutenant during tonight’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.
Officers David Jones and Clint Brown were formally elevated to their new leadership roles in front of city officials and attendees.
Lt. David Jones Lieutenant Jones is a three-year veteran of the Connersville Police Department and previously served in the United States Marine Corps. In addition to his patrol duties, Jones serves as a department instructor and is an active member of the SWAT team.
Lt. Clint Brown Lieutenant Brown brings 12 years of total law enforcement experience to his new role, including 10 years of service with the City of Connersville. Over his decade with the department, Brown has served across various divisions as a Patrol Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Detective, and SWAT team member. He currently serves as a department instructor and Crisis Negotiator.
“Throughout their service, both officers have demonstrated high levels of professionalism and dedication to our community,” the department shared in a statement following the promotions. “We wish them continued success in their new leadership roles.”
