CONNERSVILLE, IN — The official countdown to Indiana’s oldest free county fair has formally begun following the crowning of the 2026 Fayette County Free Fair Royal Court. In a spectacular evening celebrating community leadership, poise, and 4-H tradition, Alexandra Nobbe was named the 2026 Fayette County Free Fair Queen.

The court features (from left to right):
- Lola Wells, First Runner-Up
- Alexandra Nobbe, 2026 Free Fair Queen
- Ella Miller, Second Runner-Up
- Abigail Williams, Miss Congeniality
As Queen, Nobbe received a $500 betterment scholarship, while First Runner-Up Lola Wells and Second Runner-Up Ella Miller each earned $250 scholarships. Abigail Williams was honored by her peers with a $100 scholarship as Miss Congeniality.
The newly minted royal court will spend their summer representing Fayette County and presiding over the upcoming fair festivities, which include livestock showcases, grandstand events, and community exhibitions.
