Gloria J. Murray, 73

Gloria J. Murray passed away at Reid Health in Richmond, IN on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the age of 73.  Gloria was born in Denver Colorado on May 15, 1952, the daughter of the late Ruben and Cecila Redile McWhirt.

She is a 1972 graduate of Adams City High School in Commerce City, Colorado.  On November 8, 1975, in Denver, she married the love of her life, Albert Murray.  They share 50 years of marriage prior to her death and was blessed with two children.

Gloria was a loving daughter, wife and mother that enjoyed making birthday and Christmas cards, scrapbooking, working with plastic canvases, and flowers. She loved to be in the company of her family.

Her love and memories will be cherished by her husband, Albert: children, Janet (Joshua) Messer and William Murray; brothers, Roger (June) McWhirt and Ruben (Connie) McWhirt, Jr.; sister, Sharon (Ron) Stacey as well as several nieces and nephews.

Keeping with Gloria’s wishes, cremation was chosen.
