Cynthia E. Philpot, 66
Cynthia E. Philpot passed away on January 4, 2026, at her home with her family by her side, surrounded in love at the age of 66. She was born on March 23, 1959, in Rushville, IN, the daughter of the late Hargest and Shirley Levi Gabbard.
While living in Florida, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Donald Philpot, on June 13, 2010.
Cynthia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that enjoyed sewing blankets for her family or anything else they requested and doing arts and crafts. Her most treasured times are the times she spent with her family.
In addition to her husband, Donald, her love and memories will be cherished by her daughters, Heather (Nick) Ferdig and Tiffany (Sam) Sullivan; son Randy Zinaman; brothers, Rocky Levi and Eddie Gabbard; sisters, Patricia Darlene Graham and Tammie Bennett; grandchildren, Demi (Joshua) McMahon, Kali Zinaman, Trent (Cierra Broedell) McClellan; great grandchild, Finley Dunn, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Keeping with Cynthia’s wishes, cremation was chosen and the family will have a Celebration of Life at their convenience.
