
Duane Allen Hobbs, 70, of Connersville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Reid Health Richmond.
One of four children of the late Herman and Ruby Ervin Hobbs. Duane was born January 22, 1955 in Connersville.
On February 7, 2003 Duane married Beverly Ann York. Mrs. Hobbs survives.
For a number of years, Duane was a machinist at Ready Tool & Die of Connersville, and previously he drove for the Fayette County EMS.
Duane was an avid car guy, he enjoyed cruising and attending car shows with his wife, showing cars, racing, and building and rebuilding engines.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Hobbs of Connersville; four children, Brandy (Doug) Easley of Connersville, Matthew Hobbs of Connersville, Shannon Roark of Connersville, and Kelly (David) Clapp of Connersville; four grandchildren, Trenton Lewis, Cade (Constance) Daniels, Zachary (Jessie) Daniels, and Alexis (Luke) Clapp; five great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Layne, Ava, Ana, and Ariah; one brother, Darrell (Diane) Hobbs of Connersville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including a special nephew, Rick (Chris) King of Connersville.
Besides his parents, Duane was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Matherly and Brenda Smith; a grandson, Aiden Lee Clapp.
Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Grove Cemetery.
