Fayette County Animal Shelter Seeks Community Help with Food Donations

The Fayette County Animal Shelter (FCAS) is reaching out to the community for assistance, announcing that the facility is running low on essential supplies for the animals in their care.

Staff members are asking the public for donations of specific food items to help restock the pantry. The shelter is currently in critical need of:

  • Canned cat food
  • Dry kitten food
  • Dry dog food

In their announcement, FCAS staff emphasized that every contribution makes a difference in the daily care of the animals.

“Every donation, big or small, helps us keep their bowls full and their tails happy,” the shelter stated.

Residents wishing to help can drop off items or have them delivered to the new building during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For those unable to stop by during the day, donations can also be left at the old building (now the dog kennel area) after hours.

The FCAS staff expressed their gratitude to the community for their continued support.
