Crews Respond to Combine Fire in Fayette County

FAYETTE COUNTY, IN – On the evening of Monday, September 15, 2025, emergency crews were dispatched to a combine fire on County Road 200 E.

Firefighters from the Everton Fire Department, Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department, and the Bentonville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene, along with Fayette County EMS. Crews worked quickly to extinguish the blaze on a Case IH combine harvester. No injuries were immediately reported.

In a statement, the Everton Fire Department thanked all agencies involved, including Fayette County 9-1-1 for handling the dispatch.

With harvest season underway, this incident serves as a reminder that it is always a good idea to keep a fire extinguisher nearby, as it may buy you a few crucial minutes until help can arrive.
