It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that the Milton-Washington Township Fire Department announces the line-of-duty death of Firefighter Scott Adams.

Firefighter Adams made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community on April 25, 2025, answering the call with the bravery, dedication, and selflessness that defined his career and his life. Scott was more than a firefighter—he was a brother, a friend, and a true public servant. His legacy of courage and compassion will forever remain a part of our department’s fabric.

We ask that the community keep Scott’s family, loved ones, and our fire department family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. We will share details regarding memorial services as they become available.
