Luther Gordon Adams, 93, of Connersville

Luther Gordon Adams, 93, of Connersville, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.
One of seven children to the late Milburn H.G. and Martha L. Wells Adams. Luther was born in Connersville on January 19, 1933.
A proud veteran, Luther served with the United States Navy during the Korean War.
For over 31 years, Luther was employed by the federal government as an HVAC Operating Engineer for the federal buildings in Indianapolis, retiring in 1994.
Luther was an active participate in the American Legion and served with pride on the Honor Guard, where he always carried the United States flag.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching college basketball and professional baseball such as the Cincinnati Reds. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, that was his pride and joy. He was a member of Indiana ABATE. Luther also took great pride in caring for his lawn and flower garden in his later years.
Survivors include his son, Gordon L. Adams of Georgia; a sister, Martha (Dale) Hilbert of Greenwood, Indiana; a grandson; and several nieces and nephews, including Roger (Dora) Wells of Connersville.
In addition to his parents, Luther was preceded in death by three brothers, Milburn Adams Jr., Harry Lee Adams, and Leon Adams; two sisters, Mary VanVlack and infant sister Helen Adams.
Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial with military rites will take place in Everton Cemetery.
