Katherine “Kathy” Elizabeth Alfred, 82, of Laurel, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Reid Health – Connersville.
Kathy was born April 4, 1953, in Lewisburg, Ohio, the daughter of John and Thelma Lunsford Craig.
On September 18, 1976, she married Paul E. Alfred. Mr. Alfred passed away August 1, 2012.
For over 16 years, she was employed at Food Vision.
Survivors include her son, Joshua Alfred, of Laurel, IN; a grandson, James P. (Kylie Redding) Dice, of Laurel, IN; great-grandchildren, Violet Redding and Ravean Redding; a companion, Charles McKinney, of Laurel, and Charles family, Debbie Nieto, Kim Snyder, and Kenny Pursifull; a sister-in-law, Marie Judd, of Connersville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her husband of 35 years, she is preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Angel Alfred.
Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2025 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Goins officiating. Burial will follow in Everton Cemetery.
