Susan Marie Harding, 74, of Connersville, passed away Saturday morning, February 28, 2026, at her residence.
One of six children of Jesse and Margaret Nobbe Welch, Susan was born on February 9, 1952, in Connersville. She attended Connersville schools and was a proud 1971 graduate of Connersville High School.
For nearly 30 years, Susan was a dedicated and hardworking employee at Stant, where she made many lifelong friends before her retirement.
In her leisure time, Susan found great joy in her creative pursuits. She was a talented artist who spent many hours knitting, drawing, and painting, leaving behind beautiful pieces for her family to treasure. Above all, she was devoted to her family and cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include three children, Terra (Steve) Lainhart, Jessica Park, and Doug McClure, all of Connersville; two sisters, Irma Welch and Theresa Jones; seven grandchildren, Jacob and Destiny Lainhart, Donovan and Bradie Park, Owen, Kayla, and Corbin McClure; and four great-grandchildren, Braelynn, Joseph, Wesley, and Wrenley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Harding, who passed away in 2002; her parents; two brothers, George Welch and Joseph Welch; and her twin sister, Sylvia Gregory.
No services have been planned at this time. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
