Ronald Lee Baker, 74, of Everton, Indiana, passed away Sunday evening, February 8, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

On November 8, 1980, Ron was united in marriage in Everton to Janice Marie Burch. Together, they shared over 45 years of marriage, and Mrs. Baker survives.
Ron was a dedicated worker throughout his life. For many years, he was employed at D&M and WCI. He was later employed with the Fayette County Co-op and Fayette Memorial Hospital.
In his leisure time, Ron enjoyed the outdoors and working with his hands. He loved hunting and could often be found in his garage tinkering with his cars. An avid NASCAR fan, he especially cherished the time spent with his family and following their many activities.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Baker; two daughters, Josetta (Jay) Witte and Rebecca (Lance) Bruns, both of Brookville; five grandchildren, Shay (Davey) Allen, Aaron Witte, Allison (Kyle) Hall, and Amber Wiwi, all of Brookville, and Austin Bruns of Nashville, Tennessee; and four great-grandchildren, Elizabyth Allen, Joselyn Allen, Cylus Allen, and Waylon Hall.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Jonathan Tinch.
