Annemarie (Morse) Rockwell, 86, of Connersville
Annemarie (Morse) Rockwell, 86, passed away on December 24, 2025, at Heritage House of Connersville.
Anne was born to Richard K. Morse and Eleanor (Abercrombie) Morse Fiant on January 31, 1939, in Muskegon, Michigan.
Anne lived most of her childhood in Fruitport, Michigan and graduated from Connersville High School with the class 1957.
Anne worked at Moe Chevrolet for two years before beginning her career at Fayette Memorial Hospital/Fayette Regional Health System for over 48 years. Anne was very proud of her long career at the hospital, mostly in Human Resources, specifically payroll. Anne might not have remembered every employee’s name, but she generally knew their employee ID from memory.
Anne is survived by a son, Joseph (Carol) Minnerick, Connersville; five grandchildren: Chad Walker, Jeremy Minnerick, Daniel Minnerick, Courtney Walker, and Rachel (Minnerick) Russell; and six great-grandchildren: Rylei, Carter, Piper, Camden, Maddox, and Lennox. Anne also leaves behind two cousins, Ken Stoops and Pat Abercrombie; one nephew, Kevin Brown. Two special friends, her “bestest bud” Zoe Davis and Donna Neal, who helped care for her; and her beloved cat, Daisy.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jayne (Morse) Brown; brother, Bobby Morse; and daughter, Sheri Walker.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Heritage House and Brighton Hospice for their outstanding care.
In honor of Anne’s wishes, she is to be cremated and interred in Dale Cemetery by her daughter Sheri at the convenience of the family. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Fayette County Animal Shelter.
